Preventing Headaches is much easier than dealing with them We cover water, msg, adjustments and more With all the stress going on these days, I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about headaches.  So I wanted to send you a quick email to share with you 5 ways you can eliminate headaches before they even start…WITHOUT pills!  —————————– 1. Obey Your Alarm Clock —————————–  According to Dr. Lisa Mannix, a spokeswoman for the National Headache Foundation in Chicago, pressing your snooze button may turn you into  a head case. As it turns out, snoozing in for more than an hour after the alarm clock goes off can disrupt your sleep-wake cycle and  set you up for a tension headache later in the day.  ————— 2. Eat Smart —————  The substances in processed food–such as nitrates in luncheon meat and...

I came across a really cool chiropractic success story and I wanted to share it with you.  If you guessed it involves an adjustment and nerve interference restoration… you might be on to something. 12 years ago, a man named Doug Harkey, had a problem with his left eye.  One day it instantly stopped working and he became blind in that eye.  Recently, Doug was making a routine visit to his chiropractor.  But the results from this “normal” chiropractic adjustment were anything but normal.  After the chiropractic adjustment, Doug was no longer blind in his left eye. Here’s how Doug describes what happened: “My blind eye started watering after I left my chiropractor’s office and it watered for 45 minutes straight.  It started making my good eye water too.  I went to wipe my right eye – and I...

Jerry Rice, one of the best wide receivers to ever play in the NFL, and also a star on the popular television show “Dancing with the Stars” has teamed up with the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress to let the public know about the positive benefits of chiropractic care. Check out some of Jerry Rice’s comments: “My first experience with chiropractic care was right before the 49ers were to play the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl XXIII in 1987.  A couple of our key players were injured and a...

Take drugs for you minor ache and pains and you notice the problem is still there. Maybe the MD’s should refer you to chiropractic and get to the root of the problem, drug free option. Did you know that between 75% to 90% of all visits to the medical doctor don’t require any drugs at all? You already knew that, didn’t you? Deep down in your heart you sensed your body could heal itself, if you just knew how. But that’s not the bad news. The really bad news is American medical doctors are not equipped to help you. They try their best. But because they utilize a biochemical model of the body, all they can offer you are drugs like Vicadin, Prozac, Lipitor, and Celebrex. Now don’t get me wrong. Medical doctors are AWESOME at a lot of...

Posted by on Oct 27, 2016 in adjustment, cervical curve, heart | Comments Off on Can Chiropractic care lower blood pressure?

One study showed the a chiropractic adjustment in the neck can reduce blood pressure. The blood pressure stayed lower for 8 weeks following the c1 adjustment. On March 25, 2008, a story broke on ABC’s Good Morning America about chiropractic care and blood pressure.   A study done in March of 2007 at University of Chicago Medical Center confirmed that specific chiropractic adjustments to the C-1 vertebra in the neck (that’s the first bone in your neck, right under your skull) can reduce blood pressure. According to lead author George Bakris, MD, director of the hypertension center at the University of Chicago Medical Center, unlike other vertebrae, which interlock one to the next, the atlas (also known as C-1) relies solely on soft tissue (muscles and ligaments) to maintain alignment; therefore is uniquely vulnerable to displacement.  Displacement of C-1...
