Diversified technique (DT) is the most commonly used adjustment technique by chiropractors. Diversified is characterized by a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust (quick shallow thrusts).
Diversified is considered the most generic chiropractic manipulative technique and is differentiated from other techniques in that its objective is to restore proper movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction. This technique is taught at all chiropractic schools. Diversified adjustments typically cause the popping noise often associated with a chiropractic manipulation/adjustment, much like popping your own knuckles.
Dr. Trosclair was trained in this technique and uses it regularly. He also specializes in the non twisting, non popping type of adjustments using instruments. He can be more specific, and deliver a much faster, consistently controlled and exact force to any vertebrae on every patient all day long that needs motion restored.
