Our health care medical model is failing us in many area.
Iatrogenic, doctor mistakes and medications, are not 100% safe, people die.
I want you to imagine with me for a second that we lived in a world where in
America three jumbo jet airplanes crashed and killed everyone on board,
every three days.
Stated a different way, imagine 122 days out of the year there are three plane
crashes with complete devastation and loss of life. Imagine if every year 366
planes crashed leaving no one on board alive.
I know this is a scary thought, but what if it were true? The question I have
for you is if this were true,
Would You Fly On An Airplane?
Some of you might actually say yes. After all, hundreds of flights take place
throughout our country each day and you might think to yourself, “It won’t
happen to me. My plane won’t crash.”
Others would say, “HECK NO!” Are you CRAZY? There’s no way I’m
stepping foot in an airplane when 3 airplanes crash every other day and kill
over 180,000 people a year.
What are you, NUTS? (Just for the record I wouldn’t be playing Russian
roulette with my life – I wouldn’t be getting on an airplane!)
Luckily the airline industry is extremely safe and we don’t have to worry
about three airplanes going down every other day.
Unfortunately, there is another industry that causes as many deaths as if
three jumbo jets crashing 4 times a week, killing everyone on board.
This industry kills more people than AIDS. This industry kills more people
than automobile accident deaths. This industry is currently the first, second,
or third, leading cause of death in America depending on who you talk to.
This is an industry that you know, depend on, and trust above all others, yet
you probably don’t even know that this industry (by their own accounts) is
failing miserably, injuring millions, and killing hundreds of thousands.
You probably don’t know that this industry kills over 180,000 people every
year by mistake. That’s over 493 deaths per day, and almost 3,500 per
week…all by mistake. What industry does this?
The Medical Healthcare System
Dr. Lucian Leape, a medical doctor, reported in the Journal of the American
Medical Association that our medical care is failing.
Here’s exactly what he said, word for word:
“180,000 people die each year partly as a result of iatrogenic injury, the
equivalent of three jumbo-jet crashes every three days…”
What the heck does “iatrogenic” mean? It means the death was caused by
the doctor.
The reason why it’s important that you know this is simple: our country is
brainwashed into thinking the medical profession is superior to any other
type of health care.
The statistics prove otherwise.
People actually still believe the “medical or nothing” philosophy, meaning
they think anything other than medical care isn’t worth doing. You should
be more skeptical about medical care than any type of health care.
The truth is our medical model of health care is failing, and failing miserably.
This has NOTHING to do with my opinion. Just think of me as a reporter.
All the information I get comes straight from the medical profession. They
are the ones saying there’s a HUGE PROBLEM.
Our country has never been sicker, fatter, or more depressed. Our children
take more medication than the rest of the world’s children combined.
How’s This Type Of Care Working For Us?
Well, our health care ranks 37th in the world according to the World Health
Organization. Not very good is it?
If medical care worked so great, then why are we so sick all the time? Why
are we the most depressed country in the world? Why do we use the most
medication in the world? These are questions that need to be asked to bring
the truth to the surface.
The Million Dollar Question
The question I asked you above was would you get on an airplane if every
other day 3 airplanes crashed and killed everyone on board. Most of you
probably said no.
The million dollar question then if people wouldn’t get on the airplane, why
do they defend their beliefs so strongly about medical care when the medical community themselves say they are FAILING?
Because people don’t know the truth.
Look, there’s a lot of great miracles that medical care can offer us. I’m not
saying to never use medical care. I’m not saying that at all. But what I am
saying is that our medical health care system has serious flaws.
Medical care in our country does not make us healthier.
If you want to be healthy, you’ve got to use products and services that can
get you healthy and keep you healthy. Chiropractic care is one of those
services PROVEN to do just that.
I always tell patients, “Use chiropractic care as a lifestyle to stay healthy,
and use medical care for emergencies and disease.” [Tweet “Use chiropractic care as a lifestyle to stay healthy, MD for emergency and surgery”]
This will give you an advantage over most of the people in this country.
Have a great day!
