I want to share with you some great new research that came out in
December 2010.
A study was published in the medical journal SPINE, one of the most
respected research journals in the world, and the results of the
study should have the health community appreciating what the
chiropractic profession has known for more than a century…
…Patients with low back pain enjoy significant improvement with
chiropractic care, but little to no improvement with the usual care
they receive from a family physician.
The study showed that after 16 weeks of care, patients referred to
medical doctors saw almost no improvement in their disability
scores, were likely to still be taking pain drugs, and saw no
benefit with added physical therapy.
Improvements in the study dramatically favored chiropractic care
over medical care and after 24 weeks of treatment, the difference
was extensive. This research proves once again that chiropractic
care is the best treatment for back pain.
The reason for this is actually quite simple.
When you have a “structural” health problem, popping pills or
having injections only treats the symptoms…it DOES NOT fix or heal
the actual problem.
With chiropractic care, you are addressing the actual structural
problem, which not only relieves the symptoms, but also heals the
cause of those symptoms.
I often tell patients, “Structural problems need structural
treatments.”
So it comes as no surprise to me the results of this study.
Chiropractic care just does more for structural problems like back
pain than pills in a bottle. It’s that simple.
Now, there are still a lot of people in our community that don’t
know or understand chiropractic care. You may even know some
people who could benefit from chiropractic care, but are not going
because they don’t know much about it.
Do me a favor…when I send you information like this, please share
it with them. Let them know that chiropractic care is
scientifically PROVEN as the best treatment for back pain and
structural care. Let’s help these people improve their health!
Thanks and I’ll talk to you soon,
