He was a runner and witnessed plenty of ankle and foot injuries and shadowed podiatrists for a few summers and that is when he realized, this should be my career. I didn’t know this but the school he went to was an Osteopathic school in Iowa. First two years they all shared the same classes and then they switched to their specialties in year three.
