Winter is fast approaching and that means the cold and flu season.
And while it’s important for you to do things like getting lots of
sleep, drink plenty of fluids, exercise, get chiropractic care, and
eat well (and take your nutritional supplements), it’s also helpful
if you know the most common places that people get infections.
Many of the top sources of infections are hiding in plain sight.
Here is a list of some of the most common places people get
infections:
Bus rails or armrests (35%)
Escalator handrails (19%)
Customer-shared pens (16%)
Vending machine knobs (14%)
Public telephones (13%)
Elevator buttons (10%)
Grocery store freezer handles (6%)
The best protection from getting an infection is when you leave your
house and are out and about in shopping malls, stores, restaurants,
and other public places is make sure you are washing your hands
regularly with soap and water.
That’ll keep the germs in check and reduce your chance of getting
the flu or a cold!
Have a great day!
Sincerely,
Dr. Justin Trosclair dc
